Williams struggled throughout much of 2013 with their FW35 and only really began to make progress with the car late in the season when they scrapped their exhaust-blown diffuser.
They ended the year with a best finish of eighth, courtesy of Valtteri Bottas at the United States Grand Prix. They also parted ways with engine supplier Renault, who were replaced by Mercedes for 2014.
